How to export Jira work items to a formatted Excel (XLSX) file — not CSV.
In this video I show two ways to export Jira to Excel using Smart Export: from a filter (multiple work items) and from a single work item's action menu. The result is a real XLSX file with formatted descriptions, multiple sheets for comments, work logs, and change history, and support for custom templates.
