Minecraft is well playable on this system. Just be sure to not increase the number of chunks. Already at 6 chunks the game is falling below average 60 FPS.

Upgrading this system to 16 GB RAM gave a nice performance boost compared to the 8 GB in single-channel. It also made some titles run that didn't launch before.
