Star Citizen - Star Engine Tech Demo - Citizencon 2953 (2023)
This was Cloud Imperium's tech demo for the engine used in Squadron 42, the single player campaign for the MMO Star Citizen. Many of the features shown that are not already in the current build of Star Citizen are being incorporated as early as November-December of 2023. Out of over 1000 employees working on the project, more than 700 had been working on Squadron 42 up until very recently. We can expect to see content for Star Citizen churn out much faster with the majority of employees returning to the Multiplayer component of the game.
