Beam Commissioning at ESS
Check out this video that captures the journey of the recently completed Beam Commissioning in the Normal Conducting Linac at ESS. The protons have travelled a distance of approximately 42 meters, from the Ion Source to a Faraday cup after Drift Tube Linac 4, and all installed technical components have been tested in synchronisation for the very first time.
