Celeb chef Anthony Bourdain declared Monday that he is boycotting Alessandro Borgognone's upcoming sushi restaurant at Donald Trump's D.C. hotel.
" I will never eat in his restaurant. I have utter contempt for him, utter and total contempt," Mr. Bourdain, who has won several Emmy awards for CNN's "Components Unknown," informed Eater in an interview released Wednesday.
He also slammed chef David Burke, who opened BLT Prime at the freshly opened Trump International Hotel after chef Jose Andres revoked the strategy to oppose Mr. Trump's notorious remarks about prohibited migration, The Hill reported.
" I indicate, I never had the highest viewpoint of him in the first location, but I guess he's the last person in this life I must seek to for concepts," Mr. Bourdain stated of Mr. Burke. "It's not handy, that sort of thing [opening in a controversial hotel] I'm not asking you to start setting up barricades now, but when they come and ask you, 'Are you with us?' You do have an alternative. You can say 'No thanks, men. I do not look good in a brown shirt. Makes me look a little, I do not know, not terrific. It's not slendering.'".
Mr. Bourdain stated he feels like he knows Mr. Trump personally after decades residing in New York City where the president-elect built his organisation empire.
