RPCS3 has changed a lot since 2025, and if you tried PS3 emulation years ago and gave up, it might be time to take another look.

I’m not covering every single technical change, because RPCS3 receives a lot of updates. Instead, I focused on the improvements that make the emulator easier to use, smoother to play, and much more approachable than before.
RPCS3 is now closer than ever to a plug-and-play PS3 emulation experience, with nearly 74% of tracked PS3 games listed as Playable and major performance improvements compared to older builds.
