Adding Lens Flares to Cinema 4D Light Grids
Creating Cloned light grids in Cinema 4D is a fast way to generate lens flare arrays in After Effects, using Knoll Light Factory.
Make the light grid editable, import the Cinema 4D file into a new After Effects comp, and extract the scene data. When you select Use Lights, Knoll Light Factory will automatically attached flares to the light grid.
Setting up (and cloning) multiple lights in Cinema 4D is much faster than setting them up in After Effects.
