Hello everyone. I know this is a long video but I really thought this was some good footage to put out there. I recorded this while doing a full detail on my girlfriends car, hence why she is sitting next to me in the video. She just picked up this secondhand 2008 Mini One and the paint was just in terrible condition. It had very bad swirls all over the car and some deep scratches here and there which I had to wetsand.
I know my technique isn't perfect and I'm inexperienced with wetsanding. But I was really impressed with the results that I got on the scratches I wetsanded. I worked with 3000 grit sanding paper, scholl concepts S3 compound and S30+ polish, a microfibre cutting pad and foam finishing pad. I also clayed the car, removed polish residue with an IPA solution and put megiars Jet Seal and Pete's 53 wax on top to protect the surfaces I worked on.
Thanks for watching and congrats to you if you made it to the end :-)
