We are announcing two new Reference Architectures which are designed to optimize Db2 for high end - petabyte scale - warehouse/OLAP workloads. These reference architectures are called "Db2 Warehouse Reference Architecture for X86" and "Db2 Warehouse Reference Architecture for Power" and are designed to be on-premises follow-ons to our Db2-based analytic appliances (PDOA and IIAS). In this session we will review the next generation of Db2-based platforms for warehouse/analytic workloads and drill down into the architecture and other details of these two new offerings.
