Ben Goodstein - The Sky is Falling! Or: Life After macOS Server
On 24th January, Apple announced to the world that macOS Server was changing. Starting in Spring 2018 a raft of services will be deprecated and hidden from the GUI, to be removed in a future release. So, if you rely on macOS Server to run your DHCP, DNS and NetBoot what are you going to do? Never fear, Ben Goodstein from the University of Oxford is here to tell you the practical steps you can take to prepare for the gradual death of macOS Server as we know it, and the (free!) tools and (cheaper!) hardware you can use to replace it.
