In this video, I'll show you how to create a 2D character in Unreal Engine 5 using PaperZD. We'll set up an animation Blueprint for movement, add AnimMontage equivalents for jumping and taking damage, and enable shadows for the character. This is a great start for creating platformers, Metroidvanias, and other 2D games!
