Wolfric's Titanic theory V6.1 (OUTDATED)
Explanation in subtitles.
Finally updated my theory! It took a while to reach the conclusion that the break would cause the ship to sink deeper like that during the cant, but it made sense the more I thought about it. A structure like that isn't going to crumble instantaneously, despite what some people think and of course the bow would continue its plunge, dragging the stern with it for a few seconds.
