Google Sheets: Preview and interact with files using smart chips
In 2021, Google announced the ability to insert smart chips for files and meetings in Google Docs. As an extension of smart canvas, you can now add Google Drive files directly into a Google Sheet as a smart chip. This will make it much easier for you to quickly preview and interact with files in Sheets.
