"Follow" The Bear
This to a story of a little bear I came across in Alaska. I arrived in Juneau on a Sunday in mid August. After taking a look around, I began to take a few pictures. As I snapped a photo, I noticed a stuffed bear had snuck in to the picture. I shrugged it off and went about my way and thought nothing of it. I continued on my trip to a town called Yakutat where I went to see a place where the brown bears gather each night. It was quite a site to see so many bears all so close. Well, without me knowing it, that little bear had followed along on my trip.
The brown bears were beautiful and I got some great pictures, but as I did, that little bear snuck in again. Everywhere I went, seeing the icebergs or flying over the town, that little bear would follow, sneaking in to the picture whenever it could. After a week my trip had to come to an end. I took one last picture to close out my trip and e-mailed it to my kids. But what I didn't know was that little bear had been hiding in my backpack the whole time.
I was more than ready to return to Phoenix. As I drove home from the airport with my family, my little girl asked what happened to that little bear. I told her I didn't know where she went. She said "I know, I think she's in your bag". As she looked in, she found that bear that had been following me around. I asked what we should call her and after thinking a moment, she said "Follow!...., since she follows you around".
