The SNP conference has ended, but has left many Scots disappointed in the lack
of any coherent assessment of why the voters abandoned the Swinney administration.
The Swinney speech was heavy in lofty rhetoric, but absent of the one thing that could arrest the SNPs decline,
a process which would lead to an independence majority by the close of 2026.
Keith Brown teased about ending the SNP's hugely unpopular SNP 1+2 vote strategy,
in favour of involving other independence parties, to secure a 2nd vote choice for
independence parties OTHER than the SNP, was inexplicably not followed through by the first Minister.
Amid increasing British media attacks on Scotland in general, we need a bombastic & charismatic leadership.
One which HAS got a viable democratic plan. Otherwise yet another open political goal will be missed,
by an untalented & timid team captain.
