How to create a black hole? A black hole is formed through gravitational collapse, which occurs when a massive star exhausts its nuclear fuel and can no longer support itself against the force of gravity.
In the core of a massive star, hydrogen undergoes nuclear fusion, converting it into helium and releasing an enormous amount of energy. This energy creates an outward pressure that counteracts the star's gravitational collapse.
With no outward pressure from nuclear fusion, gravity takes over, causing the star to collapse under its own weight. The core collapses rapidly, and the star's outer layers are expelled into space in a spectacular explosion known as a supernova.
The core that remains after the supernova is incredibly dense. If the mass of this core exceeds a critical value, about 2.5 to 3 times the mass of the Sun, then the gravitational forces become so intense that not even light can escape. This point of infinite density is called a singularity. The event horizon is the region around the singularity where gravity is so strong that escape is impossible. Once an object crosses this boundary, it is considered inside the black hole.
