Replacing a Failed Hard Drive and Repairing a Degraded Storage Pool
In this video we go though the process of upgrading a hard drive in a Synology NAS for a larger one.
You can "Hot Swap" these drive (or at least in my case - you will need to check if your NAS supports Hot Swap) but I choose to shut the system down.
The process is very simple and I go through it in this video.
