The goal of this fishing trip was the Bumpnose Trevally. I hadn't caught one for over six months, and today I finally did. There are fish, lots of them, and a lot of fish escaped. It was a satisfying catch, and there are fish for frying and drying.
The Bumpnose Trevally may be the smallest of its kind, but it's a very lively fish and fights well when reeled in. Catching one with an ultralight is a pleasure.
