Mode Sonnet 2026 - Keyboard Typing Sound Tests
Typing sound tests featuring each new colorway for the 2026 Sonnet.
Recording Details: All sound tests are recorded with the Sennheiser MKH 416 microphone approximately 9" above the keyboard, just out of frame, pointed at a 45 degree angle downwards towards the board. Audio is recorded directly into the Sony XLR K3M interface.
Build Details: All builds featured use the full lattice block mount with no foams. The Steel Mushroom variant features a fully integrated weight into the brushed steel bottom case. All other bottom cases feature a steel weight.
The 2026 Sonnet and our new keycaps, Cacao and Monterey, are now available for pre-order, with fulfillment beginning in May.
