Let's build Stackoverflow with nextjs and Appwrite
In this tutorial series, we’ll build a Stack Overflow clone using Next.js and Appwrite, focusing on the functionality rather than the UI. We'll leverage the latest Next.js for the frontend and Appwrite as our backend-as-a-service to manage user authentication and database operations. We’ll utilize Zustand for state management, integrating libraries like Magic UI and Certain UI for additional components and visual elements. The goal is to create a scalable and complex application, emphasizing backend logic and database design rather than frontend aesthetics. Throughout the series, we'll cover how to set up a robust backend with Appwrite, create custom APIs and controllers, and manage state efficiently. By the end, you’ll gain insights into building advanced web applications and be well-prepared for any similar projects.
