the Amish Paradise challenge! can i ban all industry and make an amish utopia by getting up to 20 standard of living? i have adhd, so it sounds like a dream to disconnect from technology and still have a standard of living that high ;p
in victoria 3, while the goal most of the time is to industrialize, we're really trying to de-industrialize i suppose? amish communities aren't literally in a crusader kings type feudalism, but they do rely on producing things without electricity, or electricity off the grid (from what i understand)
i love vicky 3 for completely different reasons to hearts of iron 4 and ck2 and ck3, the other games i tend to play a lot on this channel.. just because it's fun to focus on building up an economy and taking charge of a country instead of following some insane character's escapades, or playing some battle simulator.. it's the reason why i still honestly prefer vicky 3 to vicky 2. i know some of y'all disagree still, and victoria 2 does look a lot more fun when i watch other people play it, but of the two i still prefer playing this one.

if you're wondering, i ended a little abruptly because i was recording for 4+ hours and i got really tired.. so, i left it with the assumption it wouldn't get much better any time soon. i'm sure it's possible, but the game runs hella slow by that time & i would've had to play more efficiently to make it, i have to assume? i know others have done it too, so... skill issue ;p
