A software-defined front-haul network for cloud or centralized radio access networks. Helps adapt front-haul configurations to effect different wireless access strategies to optimize both capacity and coverage as well as cater to heterogeneous traffic (heavy vs. light) and user (static vs. mobile) profiles. Test-bed currently upgraded to LTE base stations and sophisticated switching on the front-haul.
