Resetting your MyCPA com account password

First, in your web browser, go to the mycpa.com web page.

At the top right of the page, click on Client Login. Then click on the forgot password link.

A popup window will appear asking for your login and e-mail address. Your login should be your e-mail address, unless you have changed it. If you wish to reset your password via e-mail, click on the OK button. The popup window will then say “Your new password was sent to your registered e-mail address.”

Next, open your e-mail account. Open the e-mail from Hawkins that says Forgotten Password Request. The e-mail will give you a temporary password.

Now, go back to the mycpa.com website.

Enter your e-mail address in the username field, and enter the temporary password you received in the password field. Click on the login button.

On this page, enter the temporary password again in the “Old Password” field. Enter your new desired password in both the “New Password” and “Confirm Password” fields. Please note that the password must contain at least 7 characters, and one character must be a letter, and one character must be a number.
The following screen will inform you that your password change was successful. Enter your password one last time and click the Log In button.
