Need to switch between different views in Microsoft Word? This quick tutorial shows you exactly how to change your document view from Print Layout to Web Layout and back again.

In this video, you'll learn:

Print Layout View: The default view that shows your document exactly as it will appear when printed, including margins, headers, footers, and page breaks . This is the best view for editing documents with images, tables, and precise formatting .

Web Layout View: Displays your document as it would look as a web page, without page breaks or traditional margins . Use this view when you plan to save your document as an HTML file or want to see how it would appear online .

Two Easy Ways to Switch Views:

Click the View tab on the Ribbon and select Print Layout, Web Layout, Outline, or Draft from the Views group
Use the View Shortcuts icons in the bottom-right corner of your document window (Read Mode, Print Layout, and Web Layout only)
Other Useful Views: I'll also briefly cover Draft View (for focusing on text without distractions) and Read Mode (for distraction-free reading like an e-book)

Whether you're preparing a document for printing or creating content for the web, mastering these view options will help you work more efficiently in Word.
