Fitting a fresh water overflow to our Elddis CV20 Campervan
Fitting an overflow pipe to the fresh water tank so that if it gets overfilled, the water won’t run through the insulation making it all soggy and will simply drop to the ground clear of it.
I used a JG Speedfit Plastic Push Fit Equal 90 Stem Elbow 15mm to connect from the tank to the pipe, approx 20cm of water hose connected to the push fit connector and secured with a jubilee clip and some pipe insulation secured with cable ties.
Make sure that none of the insulation or the mod comes anywhere near anything hot such as heater exhausts.
Please check for your particular installation as the parts required may differ depending on your setup.
You can pick up the water pipe, pipe insulation, cable ties and a jubilee clip fairly easily. The specific Speedfit connector I used is below;

If you decide to do this yourself, this video is just a guide on how I have gone about it to suit my specific purposes and may not be the best way of going about it.
