Here's how to extract the intersection of GIS polygon features using FME. In this demo we'll use a set of polygon features representing zoning, and a set of polygon features representing neighborhoods. We'll use FME to determine which areas of the Kitsilano neighborhood are zoned for commercial use, and calculate that area as a percentage of the total area of the neighborhood.
