I want to show to the public what is causing my cinnamon process in Linux Mint to exceed 100%.
basically I would start my computer in the morning. I have Linux Mint version 4.15.0-191- generic. it's running on an older PC however when I originally installed Linux Mint it was pretty fast. now I don't know what is causing the cinnamon interface to gobble up over 100% CPU Cycles. if anyone can give me some ideas that would be great. to get this problem resolved. also the motherboard might have to be replaced because the video does not show up on the display. I can hear this very very very faint signal reaching the display and it flashes momentarily. the screen intensity is probably 1% hardly detectable.
