This video will show you some tips to help avoid rendering issues when creating a video. Ever since I have applied these tips, my rendering issues have vanished completely. I hope they will help you too.
Note: at one point of the video I reference "mp3" files, I really mean "mp4" files.
Here is the list, in case you're lazy like me and don't want to watch the video. ;)
1. Options - Preferences - Video Tab: Dynamic RAM preview max = 0; Maximum number of render threads = 1
2. Options - Preferences - General Tab - "Close media files when not the active application" (black screen)
3. Render Options = CPU ONLY!
4. C:\Program Files\Sony\Vegas Pro 13.0\FileIO Plug-Ins - rename to "compoundplugg" (if you have the green screen from an mp4 file).
5. Install "Quicktime"
6. Restart Sony Vegas/Restart Computer before rendering
7. Don't do anything else on computer when rendering (cpu power)
8. Drag project right back into sony vegas.
9. Replace mc_dec_avc.dll file with fixed one: https://www.mediafire.com/?pyil9c4iel...
Good luck!
