Replaying My Old Games - Part 3 (Lost Temple Treasure)
Lost Temple Treasure is an action-adventure roguelike where you fight off nightmare monsters and run for your life. You descend into a temple where floors are randomly generated, and search for crystals, trophies, and other pickups to power up your character or bring back to town for display. Your abilities include a laser, jump, and the ability to slow down time when you take aim while in the air. As you get deeper your stamina management and situational awareness become critical. It isn't just the monsters than try to kill you, the environment does as well. Explosive vials, rickety bridges, falling stalactites - not only are they hazards on their own, but monsters possess the intelligence to use them to their advantage and take you out. The temple includes two themes: The surface layers of the temple itself, and then the dark caves and tunnels beneath. The temple also comes with alternative game modes, including B-Side, God-Mode, and B-Side God-Mode. Lol. Good luck, because you're gonna need it.
I made this in 2019-2020 and it's still one of my favourite projects.
