On December 9, 2024, the Investigative Department of the Central District Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia for St. Petersburg dropped the criminal case and criminal prosecution against lawyer Igor Matveyev.
As a reminder, Igor Matveyev, director of the Interregional Legal Center, was detained by police on July 11, 2024, in connection with a strange criminal case and was charged. Igor Matveyev pleaded not guilty.
It took the investigators less than five months to investigate and resolve this complex case and drop the criminal prosecution against Igor Matveyev. Today, we received a ruling to drop the criminal case. You can watch our video for more details very soon.
