Bronx Gang War - Makk Ballas vs ATM - The Nug Story - From AAU Basketball to Gangs to Unsolved Death
Carlos Rivera AKA Nug, was a member of the Makk Ballas from Anthony Avenue. He had gotten indicted along with fellow gang members in 2019. Not too long after his release, Carlos Rivera, 23, was fatally shot around 2:52 p.m. on August 25, after he became involved in an argument outside an apartment building at 265 East 176th Street in the Tremont section of the Bronx. Law enforcement sources said the exact cause of the dispute was unclear and remained under investigation.
Police said the confrontation escalated when the suspect produced a firearm, aimed it at Rivera, and opened fire. Rivera was struck at least twice in the chest and later died from his injuries.
