0:00 I'm going to show you how you can get your YouTube channel verified. If you're setting up YouTube channels on a regular basis, you've come across a problem where you can only use your phone number twice for verifying your YouTube channel. So, I'm going to go over to the computer and I'm going to show you those five tips, to get those channels verified.
0:56 Here we have the dreaded 'Your phone number has been associated with too many accounts'. The first thing that you can do, when you get this, is to click on 'Enter different number'. If you use the 'Call me on an automated voice message' instead of the text message you actually have two goes with this one, and you also have two goes with this one. This could change in the future, but as of right now you can actually get two text messages so you can verify two accounts using text and you can verify two accounts using call.
1:33 Make sure that your phone is ready, as the notice says. Add your number, then click on submit. Your phone will ring and they will give you an automated voice message and you put in your verification code. And once we give our code, click on submit and our account is then verified.
1:55 The next tip for getting your channel verified is being able to use your landline. Because Google can call you with an automated voice mail message, you can use a landline
so that you're not getting a text message. You're getting additional two verifications with your landline, if you have one at home.
2:15 Tip number three is to use someone else's phone. This isn't exactly rocket surgery, but you can just use somebody else's phone, if they're at your house or they're your friend or sibling. Borrow their phone, stick in the number, send the text to the phone, then use the verification code to verify your account.
2:39 Tip number four is to go online and search for a free SIM card. Go to Mr Google and search for 'free SIM card'. There are lots of phone companies offering you SIM cards for free. Click on any of these, fill in the form and you can get them sent to you for free. You just select any number of these or go crazy and select them all. Get a lot of SIM cards sent to you if you're going to set up a lot of Youtube accounts and have them ready to use.
3:18 And when you've used up all of those options, you can just go to a corner shop, who typically will sell SIM cards and you can buy them for very-very cheap. Here, in the UK, you can pick them up for one pound in your local little shop, and they will have them available for you. So, if you have something like that in your country, you can just go in there, get them for a very small amount and you have a number to use for another four times.
3:44 You could, also, go into the mobile phone shops themselves and see if they're giving away any free SIM cards, so that you can use those, as well as the ones they sent you by mail.
