In this first part, we discuss what the SQL Server Management Studio is and what it can do. We show you how to launch SSMS, how to connect your database to the SSMS application and show the general layout of the SSMS application.
In the second half of this video, we go over the file and toolbar menu, showing a demo within the SSMS application.
Part 2 of this MS SQL Server Management Studio series will continue with the SSMS overview and go into Registered Servers and the Object Manager.
