PS3 Slim HDD 1TB Upgrade On A CFW PS3
How to upgrade the HDD on a PS3 Slim with CFW. I did not back anything up. I only use my PS3 for RPCS3 game dumping. If you need to save your data like game saves etc, then this video may not be for you. You would need to clone your drive or just back up your data to an external HDD or transfer your data via FTP to your computer. I'll say this again, I only use my PS3 for RPCS3 game dumps. I didn't back up, because I could put my old PS3 HDD directly into my PC or an external enclosure and then have better access to my game dumps.
Last disclaimer - This method may not be for you and does not show backing up of any previous data on the original PS3 HDD. This is what I personally did when upgrading my PS3 that had Rebug CFW on it. I am not responsible for any data you loose or if for some chance in hell you brick your PS3.
