hello you dirty potters, how are you today.
today's video is something that I consider important as far as the intermediate education goes for a potter. learning how to throw an enclosed form opens the door to a bunch of different shapes and functional items such as salt shakers, holders, bird houses, and even decorational plant pots.
it's a very simple technique but the main thing you need to know is how to proficiently throw and enclosed form which is what we're talking about today.
the main technique you want going into this lesson are the ability to throw a normal thickness cylinder and the ability to choke or collar clay so that you can enclose the top of your vessel.
