After our 200 km desert tour, we had engine failure in Tunisia. With some effort, we got our UAZ back to Europe. We left Stulle in Genoa and had to wait two months for our Buchanka to arrive in northern Germany. Then we had a nasty surprise: our winch and cooler were stolen. Now we had to do something about our engine. We considered three options: overhauling the engine, installing a different one, or installing a replacement engine. We're Marius and Melli, we travel a lot and chase adventures. We also enjoy filming, so it made sense to run this channel :-).
I (Marius) am a Boy Scout and love going out and having adventures. I often go on tours or take part in events, whether on foot, by canoe, by bike, or even by car. I also like to test myself and push myself to my limits. I often participate in obstacle courses or do survival training.
In 2017, I bought a new car: a Mitsubishi Pajero. I wanted a car that would take me everywhere, even off-road, that I could take a lot of people with, a car that could also pull heavy loads, a car that had plenty of space so I could even sleep in the car, a car that wasn't too old, and, above all, not too expensive. The Pajero met these requirements.
The car is now being converted piece by piece into an adventure motorhome. I'll document this for you. I also take my camera with me on our adventures.
Since 2019, Melli and I have been living in our Dumbo, a self-built tiny house/fairground wagon. You can also find the videos on our channel. 🙂
In 2021, we bought a new motorhome and completely rebuilt it. Our favorite is a UAZ (452) 3962 Buchanka, a Russian four-wheel drive bus.
2022 was busy. We got married, sold Dumbo, and traveled for 6 months through Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.
