Esri ArcGIS Editor Tracking [How and Why]
Hi, in this video, I have tried to explain how to delete fields being used by editor tracking and in the last part of the video, how to add these fields in a feature class.
Part-1: Failed to delete the selected field. The field is used by Editor Tracking.
Part-2: How to add editor tracking fields into a feature class;
1. Creator
2. Create_Date
3. Editor
4. Edit_Date
Esri: Editor tracking allows you to make a log of who edited data and when they did it. Once tracking is enabled, each time an edit is made, information about editors is automatically recorded in the fields you specify.
The quickest way to enable editor tracking is by enabling with predefined settings. Right-click a dataset, point to Manage, and click Enable Editor Tracking. This displays a message listing the fields that will be added to the dataset.
