A Wendy's Employee with Down Syndrome Fired after 20 years.
Dennis Peek, a man with Down syndrome was fired from his job at a Wendy's restaurant in Stanley, NC after 20 years. The reason... he was "unable to perform the duties of a normal person's job." Please note, this happened in 2022, however it is a reminder to always advocate for unfair treatment. Let's continue to stand up for what is right. Dennis did get that retirement party after all! His sister Cona Young Turner was his voice and advocate!
