If you own an iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, Apple made it simple to capture and save your screen. Screen recordings are similar to a screenshot. But instead of saving a photo, your iPhone creates a video of everything on your screen. The screen recording tool was added with the launch of iOS 11. As long as your device runs iOS 11 or newer, you can add the tool to the Control Center for easy, fast access.
Below are iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch models that support screen recording:
iPhone 5S or newer
iPad Mini 2 or newer
iPad Air, all models
iPad, 5th generation or newer
iPad Pro, all models
iPod Touch 6th generation
