Change column (field) names quickly using an 'alias' in QGIS
If you have an attribute table for a map layer and the column names are all things like field_1, field_2, field_3 then it can be quite confusing when you're trying to do analysis, style the layer, label it and so on.
A quick solution for this is to change the field name alias so that you have a descriptive field name instead of field_1, field_2, field_3 - and that's what I demonstrate here.
