Approach including Gear Extension: Onur Air A321 TC-ONJ Landing at Leipzig/Halle Airport (Germany)
In summer season, Onur Air (8Q/OHY) are a regular guest at Leipzig/Halle aiport (LEJ/EDDP) and an Airbus A321 is nothing too special as well, but this aircraft is! With a maiden flight in May 1993 it is one of the oldest A321 around, it is said to be the second flying A321, which is why it was owned by Airbus from 1993 to 1996, before being delivered to Onur Air.
Another special aspect about this video is, that you can see the aircraft's landing gear being extended on approach, which I have managed to capture only once before this! (see • Polar Cargo Jumbo Landing at Leipzig/Halle... )
The aircraft can be seen here on its approach to runway 26R at Leipzig/Halle airport, while the actual touchdown happens behind a wall, which is the major drawback of the location I shot this video from.
