Don't trust PC Optimizers

Today I am going to explain why PC optimizers are a scam. I've seen many people use them, and I think it's time to end it.
Installing drivers 101:
1. Check the support page of your OEM website. Chances are high it's out there.
Alternatively, you can have a driver installation media coming with a component you're trying to acquire a driver for.
2. No luck? Find the hardware ID of the equipment you're trying to install a driver for and manually search for the driver.
Don't know how? Go to Device Manager (devmgmt.msc), find your device without a driver, open up properties and search for a drop-down list. From there, select Hardware ID. To start, copy everything before SUBSYS into your favorite search engine. Still can't find it? Copy everything, including the SUBSYS part.
3. Still can't find it. Ai-ai-ai. Don't run to install your favorite one-time use PUP just yet. Use Snappy Driver Installer Origin. It's completely free and open source.
