Migrating Culture Crossing will be the largest planned sustainable community on the continent of Africa featuring its own organic food forest, amenities such as a swimming pool, gym, tennis court, a health and wellness center and nearly one thousand fully furnished single family and multi-family homes. You may wonder why we are building this community and what is so different about Migrating Culture Crossing. It's definitely a valid question.
We are essentially building a community in the way in which we want to live life. We believe that current real estate developments are being designed mostly for vehicles and not for people. And most real estate developments do not put an emphasis on food.
Our guiding ethos is food first. We believe that your food should be grown in your community and the community should have some degree of control over how that food they eat is grown. When you have to depend on your food traveling a long distance to you then you have no food sovereignty and that is extremely dangerous.
We also want to live in a way in which we respect nature. We believe that if we live sustainably, respect and protect nature then nature will in turn protect us with health and well being, by providing an abundance of healthy drinking water, healthy food and a healthy environment.
In the future we envision hosting guests from all over the world who will travel to spend time at Migrating Culture Crossing, which will also be a health and wellness resort where people can come to rest or learn about sustainable living.
Migrating Culture Crossing will be much more than another community of houses thrown up to satisfy a shortage in the housing market. But this community is for those who are looking for a quality of life that promotes healthy living among like minded people.
