How to Tow a car with a broken ball joint (parking garage extraction)
So a customer car had been stuck in a hospital parking garage for a couple days because of a broken ball joint. It was a lot of different factors with this job that made it a little difficult. First was it was in a busy hospital parking garage with a low height ceiling that was only 6’10 from in the part where her vehicle was located. The next problem was her ball joints was broken on the driver side hindering from moving the car and on top of that the vehicle was pulled in. The job couldn’t have gotten any worse. Luckily I was about to come up with a game plan and get my hands on the right equipment needed for the job. This job required me to use go jacks. Towing vehicles with these problems are not hard it just takes a little patience and thinking to come up with the right approach.
