Spanish Variation
Act II of Moscow Ballet's Great Russian Nutcracker takes place in the Land of Peace and Harmony (typically known as The Land of Sweets), Masha and the Nutcracker Prince meet couples from all over the world who perform dances symbolic of their country and heritage. In this scene, the Spanish couple performs for Masha and the Nutcracker Prince in front of the humorous bull puppet, which represents the gift of daring. In the Land of Peace and Harmony, all humans and animals live harmoniously with one another.
