In this video I go over the 3 cheapest Rust kits for the various wipe stages you may be in. These armor sets are both cheap in terms of resources and effective as they offer good protection and camouflage!
The first kit that I cover in this video I call the "The Broke Prim". This armor set does not require any blueprints or even a Lvl. 1 workbench to craft anything. The materials required to craft this kit are 90 cloth, 400 wood, and 15 leather. The clothing and armor that you need to craft is: a wooden helmet, forest camo bandana, burlap shirt, hide poncho, wooden armor gloves, burlap pants, and wooden armor pants. This kit offers 20% projectile protection for the face, 27% for the chest, and 20% on the legs as well as 43% cold protection and 26% radiation protection. Overall projectile protection is 22.33% which is a bit less than a Hazmat Suit, but at a cheaper cost & with more camo.
The second armor set that I cover in this video I call "The Prim King" . This kit does require a few blueprints and a Lvl. 1 Workbench. The materials required to craft this kit are 160 cloth, 250 wood, 3 sewing kits (not sure why I had 6 in the video), and a wolf skull. The clothing and armor that you need to craft for this kit are a wolf headdress, forest camo bandana, forest camo T-shirt, hunting jacket, wooden armor gloves, forest camo pants, and wooden armor pants. This armor set offers 35% projectile protection for the face, 37% for the chest, and 25% projectile protection on the legs. This kit also gives you 45% cold protection and 29% radiation protection. Overall projectile protection for this second kit is 32.33% making it slightly better than a Hazmat suit and is about 200 cloth cheaper with no loud footsteps to give away your position.
The Final cheap armor set that I cover in this video I call "The Hazmat Crusher". Out of the 3 kits, this one is the most expensive and does require a Lvl 2. Workbench and some blueprints. The materials required to craft this kit are 145 cloth, 30 leather, 8 sewing kits, 2 road signs, and a wolf skull. The clothing / armor required to craft this kit are a wolf headdress, forest camo bandana, hoodie, camo hunting jacket, road sign gloves, forest camo pants, and a road sign kilt. This set offers 35% projectile protection on the head, 45% on the chest, and 35% for the legs. This kit also gives you 26% cold protection and 22% radiation protection. I like to call this kit "The Hazmat Crusher" as it offers an average projectile protection of 38.33%, is cheaper than a Hazmat, and doesn't come with those loud stomping footsteps that will give your position away. Once you use this kit once, you will never go back to a Hazmat.
These Rust kits all offer great protection at a cheap cost and come with extra camouflage compared to the bright Hazmat suit. With these kits you will also be easily able to sneak around with quiet footsteps.
The song in the intro of the video is called "Fundo De Video" By SATX
