The Null Hypothesis and Alternative Hypothesis in Statistics Testing
We explore the null and alternative hypothesis used in significance testing. I explain how the null hypothesis is created and then how to follow with either a directional or non-directional (one-tailed vs. two-tailed) alternative hypothesis. You get some practice identifying and creating both types of hypotheses. Also includes a COVID update and a discussion about the upcoming Unit Test 1.
