Welcome to a new edition of Dungeon Synth Sunday. This week I have four album features for you, following a darkening path of phantasma, flora and fauna.
We begin our journey with the first release of a new project from Ysbrydnos; revelling in black metal’s adjacent tones of earthen ambient, Altar Of Moss Vol.1 - Amidst A Forgotten Glade begins a series of Welsh mythical darkness - Haunted forests of ancient mysticism; of memories crystallised into aeons of bark and moss, melded to cooling rock through the slow unspooling of time and its deepening rustic wisdoms.
