Softube's Model 72 & Echoes in a Reason Combinator
Using #nektar 's excellent LX Mini controller to play the #softube Model 72 synth & Echoes plugins and control #reasonstudios Reason 12 DAW. In the final section (at 4.17) I bring in the 'overload' function, which is a simulation of Bob Moog's concept of running the low output into the audio in on the original MiniMoog, to create an overdriven effect.
The opening screen is a snapshot of the Reason Combinator (custom artwork) I created for the Model 72 and Tape Echoes from Softube.
Drums were recorded using Kong into a sequence, then individual sounds were controlled to create tuning (kick drum) or panning (hi-hat) automation - these are pre-mapped by Nektar for Reason native plugins.
