I wanted to see if I could turn a completely minimal AMD based Fedora install into my full personal setup using a single script. No desktop environment. No apps. Just a blank system and one script to build everything exactly how I use it.

This started as an experiment inspired by XeroLinux's install script. The goal was simple. Install Fedora minimal, run one script, and have everything ready. Desktop, apps, gaming tools, virtualization, codecs, and my preferred workflow.

In this video, I test the script live inside a virtual machine. You will see the full process from minimal install, running the bootstrap script, fixing errors, and finally booting into a working desktop with all the tools installed.

This includes gaming tools like Steam, Lutris, Heroic, Proton tools, productivity apps, KDE utilities, virtualization support, codecs, and system tools.

You will also see where things broke, how I diagnosed it, and how I fixed it. I want to show the full journey, including the mistakes.

The long term goal is to create a fully reproducible Fedora setup that can be deployed in minutes.

If you are new to Linux, this shows how powerful scripting can be for building your own custom system.

If you are experienced, I would love your feedback on improving the script.

Try it in a VM first. Always test before using on your main system
